i love my mum so much! I LOVE YOU!

spending a ton of cash on new clothing for me? how can i not love you? not that i only love you for the shopping. (: but i haven't been able to get new clothing for quite a long time, so now that i have, it is great! i ask for nothing more (in terms of clothing). except for jeans which we couldn't find today.

2 peopls made weird comments today. one is the lady in the boutique. she asked my mum "ni mei mei zao shen me?" and my mum had to convince her "ta shi wo de nu er". and two is my neighbour from a couple of doors away. referring to me, she told my dad "whoa you're daughter so tall already, eh, oh sorry, your wife ah?" and then mummy turned the corner, laughing like crazy. i look old? ohno.

grandma's birthday dinner today. i found out that she doesn't even know which year she was born in! its something to do with during/after the war. hmm. i had so much to eat! and cos i'm having a cold, i was sniffling my way through dinner, laughing along with the things the rest were talking about. my dad said he wasn't really close to his sisters, being the only boy, so i guess that's why we aren't as close as the rest are?

yiwei, you're 7 and you may experience the same thing. you're position is kind of like mine. your dad's the only boy, and you're the girl born just before another baby girl was born. while everyone else calls the aunts ahyi, you call them gugu. see? its like another me!(:
